The Ancient Paths

I was concerned this would lack the science of other non fiction I like to read, but it had some good insights. From the Heraklea way, through the defeat of Gaul to the Celts in England. To me it is a book about history, how people occupy the same place across the centurys and how new civilisations and religions supplant the previous. How this process can obscure histories. It show an era when we worshipped the sun and were dependant on knowing the seasons.
