So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish

Douglas Adams

This is the Fenchurch and Arthur's love story, with a bit of Ford Prefect and Marvin.

This is much more a novel than his previous works, steady, descriptive, story arc, deeper characters.

His writing in other books have been a bit disjointed. It still works and I love them, but they are Adams style. This universe and characters and ideas were in Adams head and came out as radio series, books, plays, comic books. He is not a traditional writer.

So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish comes close to being a traditional book and I think this growth allows him to go on and write Dirk Gently.
