Less Than Zero

From the first page you know this is a Bret Easton Ellis. His observation of the minutiae and then the longer exploration of life. This is about rich kids in LA. It is bleak, and sad, and lonely. At just over 200 page sit is a quick read but obsorbing. This is Ellis first book, published in 1985 and his later works is similiar and grow from here.

Reminded me of Chuck Palahniuk, Irvine Welsh, Tom Robbins.
