This one had been on my shelf for ages. I had avoided it because I thought the content would be heavy going. But it was actually an easy read. Great breadth of knowledge on globalisation. A good perspective from an experienced, international journalist, (Thomas has won 3 Pulitzer prizes).
It is very pro globalisation, but backed up with data, a bit pro America as well. But a nice balance at the end about the risks of globalisation.
My edition was from 2000, but it still holds its own and is relevant today, and prophetic.
Great Christmas read.
