Douglas Rushkoff

This book made me feel sad and helpless. To begin with it read like a propaganda piece, very one sided, but over time I saw the truth in this perspective. The pervasiveness of coprorations and how that mentality has become a part of our everyday. Douglas refers to the beginning of the dark ages as a better time. I have also read other history books with perids with better quality of life for the average man. But I suppose every generation does that, we have a lot going for us, but we are so dominated by corporations.

Very insightful, however it lacked a solution, I thought the second half would be examples of breaking free, but he kept on going on about the problem.

Very through provoking book.
