This one was really hard to get into. The concepts of a pupulated Mars and venus was fine, btu the timeframe was the mid 80s, so I was a bit thrown. I had to imagine a alternate dimension to suspend disbelief. once you di get a hold of where you were it was a good adventurer. Long distance space travel, space sails, terraforming, colonising, aliens, high technology. There is some socialtal comment on colinisation and the space race with US and USSR. But it is the Sci-Fi concepts that make these books okay for me.
