The Book of Sheen

I knew Charlie first in Wall Street and then later on in Hot Shots. I knew his Dad from Apocalypse Now and West Wing. This memoir begins with that movie family and growing up in LA, Malibu and on movie sets around the world. It deals with Charlie's fame and good movies and bad. That alone is worth a read. But it also deals with Charlies demons, his addiction, his relationships. His disconnection from having his needs met when he looks like he had everything. It is sad, and I hope he continues with his sobriety. He seems like a good guy, a charmer, just lost.
